With over 20 years in HR, spanning small businesses through to director level at large corporates, I founded WorkBetter HR Consulting to give businesses of all sizes access to senior HR expertise, without the cost of a full-time hire.
When businesses invest in your team, they drive performance and commercial results, and that's what drives me: helping organisations build the right people strategies to achieve exactly that. I also believe no two businesses are the same, and neither are their people, so every solution I provide is tailored to the organisation and the individuals within it. There's no one-size-fits-all in HR, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I approach my work with a calm, structured and people-centred mindset, taking the time to understand your organisation, listen to your employees, and identify what genuinely needs attention. I don't believe in changing something for the sake of it; if a process is working well, I leave it alone. My focus is always on what will make a meaningful difference, delivered in an ethical, transparent and commercially-minded way.
Away from work, I'm also a working mum, which gives me a sharp, first-hand appreciation for the everyday pressures business owners and employees alike are juggling, and keeps my advice grounded in the real world, not just the rulebook.
